We are seeking a skilled and motivated Camp HVAC Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems within our camp facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure a comfortable environment for campers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heaters, and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency HVAC issues to minimize disruption to camp activities.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems.
• Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff to support overall camp operations and address facility-related issues.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to campers and staff, addressing any concerns related to HVAC systems in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification in HVAC preferred.
• Experience: 6 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably in a camp or similar environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
